Directories, Trade, Telephone & Street (Ireland)

Nature of Source

Listings of prominent people, local officials and traders in a village or town usually with a geographical and topographical description of the place. Some deal with a specific occupation or trade which might include biographies.

Directories can be used as a limited census substitute but they do not necessarily include every resident.
